Job Description

The Lab Technician supports a diverse set of semiconductor sensor and systems that are electro-mechanical in nature. The primary goal of the lab is to provide capabilities, equipment, and manpower to enable new product developments. Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance, debugging and general fixing of lab equipment that is Electro-Mechanical in nature
  • Perform product characterization and evaluation tests using bench top setups and automated test systems
  • Support diverse range of activities including (but not limited to) hands-on testing and characterization of motion type sensor devices
  • Work closely with product and design engineers to setup new experiments properly and to collect meaningful data thereafter

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Technician experience with lab equipment maintenance and strong debugging skills
  • Experience in test systems and following test procedures
  • Solid problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with lab equipment's and measurement system like signal analyzer, oscilloscope, power supply, etc.
  • Detail-oriented & motivated individual who is a self-starter

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and testing
  • Experience in building basic electrical hardware, developing customized characterization and automated test systems
