Job title:                            Senior Electronic Engineer

Immediate Supervisor:        Engineering Manager

Purpose of the job:

Plan and carry out hardware baseband design, verification and validation during development of new products and to support technical questions to engineering department on existing products and sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Circuit design and schematic creation.
• Arrange hardware review, both formal and non formal as needed and required.
• Make PCB layout.
• Plan and carry out hardware verification with testing reports.
• Creation and maintenance of design documentation (BOM, drawings, instruction etc.).
• Releasing of design material for production.
• Support production (both onsite and offsite) on product-technical and testing issues.
• Work as project manager in development teams.
• Closely work and share information with teammate and other teams.
• Support younger staff in training within the technology and tools used.
• Support with technical input and feasibility study for PRS and new project opportunities.
• Report to engineering manager
• Be supportive to help on additional RnD tasks not mentioned above.

Personal Skills

• Good communication skills including fluently spoken English and Putonghua.
• Experience in Microsoft office (Especially word and excel).
• Experience of schematic and layout creation (Preferable with PADS).
• Strong Knowledge and experience in Analog circuit design.
• Proactive, result orientated, outgoing and positive.
• Leadership skills to drive projects to happen on time.
• Good technical problem solving skills.
• Experience in type approval and debugging on related issues, e.g. handling of ESD and Audio-breakthrough.

Requirements

• Degree holder and major in Electronic engineer or related engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience in designing hardware in the telecommunication industry.
