The Sr. Engineer will be providing technical and strategic support for compliance (chemical regulations) and design for environment for Eaton’s broad portfolio of Industrial products. This work will help business across the enterprises solve regulations & environmental problems, support new & existing business through product compliance and create sustainability value propositions to gain additional business opportunities. Qualifications Requirement – Bachelor’s with 5-7 years’ experience or Masters with 3-5 years’ of progressive experience in the areas of product compliance domain ,Product or technology development for Industrial, Electrical/Electronics or Chemical products or process Responsible for providing support to Aerospace- ITD business in the field of Product compliance and Design for Environment (DfE) for existing and new product development. Understand customer needs and wants and communicate them to other Eaton teams, and act as the liaison for program activities as appropriate. Interact with key customers/stakeholders in understanding current & upcoming sustainability trends and their relevance to our products Lead Design-For-Environment activities in PROLaunch environment for runner and minor repeater projects Conducting environment impact assessments (e.g. Screening LCA using eco-design tools) for ITD products Work with Lead Engineer to prepare guidance for the reduction and elimination of high-impact materials Monitors progress and achievements on projects & provide regular updates to business leaders. Provides resolution of issues related to product compliance & Sustainability and work closely with cross functional teams like Engineering, SCM, Mfg and Sales. Reviews technical aspects of projects including DfE Specifications & support business division to achieve Eaton's 2030 Sustainability goals through effective training and engagement.
