Position Summary

This position will be responsible for machine maintenance and modification to improve production efficiency. He/She will also provide mechanical solutions and design that fulfills the required motions of the machine modules.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical reviews on requirements and specifications of the manufacturing processes and machines to drive improvement.
• Responsible for machine maintenance, trouble-shooting, modifications, adjustment, assembly and setup to aid process enhancement.
• Conduct machine acceptance tests and manage installation and commissioning, etc.
• Design and build prototypes of equipment/artifacts; conduct laboratory simulations on new techniques or procedures and assist in process development/reengineering.

• Produce standard operating procedures, reports and presentations.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5-7 years' relevant experience in machine design and selection, bulk manufacturing, plant and facilities engineering
• Knowledge in lean manufacturing, 6-Sigma and Gemba Kaizen.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Good command in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Putonghua
• Occasional business trip is required
