As a Global Quality (GQ) Back End Central Operations Quality (BECQ) Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for all quality aspects of Micron subcontractors, and will manage document and change control. (The subcontractors provide outsourcing services to Micron that include component assembly and packaging, electrical test, memory module assembly, and SSD assembly.) In part, you will communicate and interface directly with Micron subcontractors regarding engineering, quality and reliability topics; participate in regular review of Subcon manufacturing line quality performance (Quality KPIs - example Line Yield) and follow through with recovery and corrective actions for target misses. You will verify CAPA for line incidents that cause non-conformance to Micron’s WIP and impact delivery, participate in periodic on-site Quality audits, and provide input for and participate in quarterly quality reviews.

• Perform Manufacturing Surveillance Assessment on Site
• Driving Sites to achieve Quality KPI and Metrics

Education

Required

• Bachelors Degree
• Engineering - Electrical
• Engineering - Materials Science
• Engineering - Mechanical
• Related field of study

Experience

Required

• 5+ years experience in any of the following:
• Semiconductor assembly and/or memory module SSD manufacturing
• 3+ years experience in each of the following:
• Quality processes and procedures
