Senior Digital Design Engineer

Description

The Electronic Test and Measurement (ETM) Group is a key technology franchise within ADI developing high speed and high voltage converters for Instrumentation, Industrial, Automotive, Healthcare, Communications and Consumer applications. ETM seeks a creative, high energy, self-motivated digital design engineer to lead the digital development of core and breakthrough products.

 

Responsibilities

This position will involve the following tasks:

  • Developing specification, architecture and RTL design for the digital domain of Mixed-Signal products;
  • Lead the digital design function on product developments;
  • Designing digital for industry leading precision ADCs & DACs involving DSP functions and SOC platforms;
  • Design to meet timing, area, low-power, DFT, manufacturing test and schedules for market, co-working with digital implementation team to optimize the design;
  • Responsible for the Quality of the digital design for products;
  • Co-work with the verification team for complete functional closure for both RTL and Gate level
  • FPGA development including prototyping of design for evaluation.
  • Engage on all aspects of the design process including interaction with customers and internal functions of Applications, Measurement, Verification and Analog team;
  • The training and mentoring of other engineers;
  • Sharing technological developments across Analog Devices.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, in Engineering (Electronic Engineering) or equivalent;
  • Highly skilled in Verilog/SystemVerilog and other languages (C/C++, Python, Tcl/Perl);
  • Experienced with Cadence or Synopsys EDA tools and flows;
  • Experienced in designing DSP functions and digital filtering;
  • Knowledge of SOC & embedded processor platforms;
  • Knowledge of low-power design techniques;
  • Quick to adopt new methods and technologies;
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment;
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are required;
  • Strongly self-motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
