Our location in Plano, TX currently has an opportunity for a Senior MRI Engineer. As a Senior Engineer you will design and test implantable medical devices to ensure MRI safety. You own specific MRI requirements and test methods. You work with a team to execute multi-year MRI projects. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop MRI requirements

• Design for MRI safety

• Develop and validated test fixtures and methods for MRI safety

• Test for MRI safety

• Represent MRI function on R&D core teams

• Mentor junior engineers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics/related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Minimum of 6 years’ related work experience in product development.

• Ability to meet deadlines

Preferred

• Class III medical device R&D experience

• Medical device software validation experience

• Cross functional team experience
