This exciting role offers opportunity to: Provide experienced professional solutions to Medium Voltage Switchgear and Assemblies, New Product Development. Design innovative solutions and execute NPI projects; Interact with global MVA/MVS team, Engineering Manager, Product line Engineers and Technicians to execute New Product Development. Provide support to New Product Production Orders; Support on Prototype development and preparing type test plan and product certification with UL.Implement best Dfx practices within product design phase.Demonstrated capability in design and development of Medium Voltage Assemblies and Switchgear. Must be proficient in CAD software programs such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Pro-E, Solid works, or Ideas. Should be able to create 3D model new part detail drawing and assembly drawings (mechanical, electrical, or electronic) for new designs of the most complex nature. Able to support plant manufacturing team, Production order issues from MOL support and maintain timeline for the deliverables. Able to demonstrate a solid foundation in mechanical, electrical or electronic principles, pro in sheet metal design, mechanism design & interlock design. Able to understand Medium Voltage Product design standards like IEC / UL / IEEE / NEMA etc. Ability to excel as a team player by successfully collaborating with engineering peers as well as cross-functional personnel to ensure custom designs meet customer expectations Be capable of writing articles for trade and technical publications, presenting papers and preparing patent disclosures. Possess sound problem solving skills and the ability to analyze product failure issues sufficiently to drive them to root cause Possess the appropriate project management skills to take the lead position on small to medium development projects Must be collaborate with SCM to develop prototype and perform development test for NPD Effectively utilize EIIC Eco-system like Test Lab, Digital Org, CDP&T capabilities for building & maturing the cost out portfolio. Fluent in written and verbal communication in a global environment Qualifications Requirement: BE Mechanical 8-10 Years experience in MV product design Mechanical Design and drawing knowledge for Electromechanical products. Having knowledge of Medium Voltage Switchgear and Assemblies. Understanding office/ UL / IEEE standards & certifications. Understanding of Manufacturing processes. Experience of leveraging analytics for NPI. Experience in new Product Developement Cycle. Influencing Skills, Presentation Skills, Good at communication. Yes!
