Objective of the Position

Responsible of Process Optimization and continuous improvement of plant technology by using different optimization tools. Qualification of production process in the plant to achieve quality targets.

Optimization and continuous improvement of asset life cycle to maximize effectiveness according to asset strategy. Coordinate and evaluation of maintenance and engineering services

Main Tasks

Responsible for process optimization (process parameters, automations, procedure)

Execution of root cause analysis

Identification of optimization levers

Sustainable using of optimization tools (OPEX, LEAN, Statistical Process Control)

Further development of automation and sequencer

Embedding of process changes in the plant, Responsible for conceptual design of process including plant’s automation concept

Coordination of further advancement of plant processes

Documentation of process change as process manual

Education of employees with respect to process changes

Responsible for plant qualification concepts

Establish plant qualification concept

Determination of qualification objectives

Updating qualification documentation

Prepare commissioning and validation

Responsible for implementation of plant specific optimization strategy

Collaboration in global technology relevant to process engineering community

Develop/Focus on knowledge management and develop training/qualification of process manual

Responsible for optimization of technical equipment

Analysis of technical vulnerability and asset effectiveness

Initiate equipment modification

Responsible for gatekeeping between production and maintenance

Gatekeeper of work order notification and prioritize work requested from production to find right scheduling

Work order clarification

Ensure process team is responsible for Process Safety Engineering by:

Develop/Focus on plant’s safety knowledge management and develop training/qualification of process safety

Ensure education/ training programs and follow-up on the course evaluations to help decision making on the use of such programs

Maintain documentation of process safety according to corporate and mandatory EHS rules/ regulations, communication materials, inspection and audit reports to ensure that the major activities are properly documented according to needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor or master’s degree in chemical engineering / E&I engineering / Mechanical Engineering

0-3 year especially in chemical plant operation process/ production or maintenance

Knowledge of chemical process and production

Good command of English and computer skills

Self-planning and project management

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Able to communicate in Thai
