'1. Responsbile for supply chain management for new product introduction (NPI) projects. 2. RFQ Management – Float RFQ’s to suppliers, in-depth analysis of RFQ’s for production parts and raising,organizing and completing purchase requisitions. 3. Coordinating new vendor registration, creating and renewing NDAs and supplier agreements, follow up with vendors to get quotes. 4. Analysis of quotes, negotiation and data gathering. 5. Alternate supplier identification, support on part quality, maintaining a supplier continuity plan. 6. Proactive collaboration with Pune and Global Engineering Teams, Eaton Global plants and Global suppliers to achieve cost competitive purchasing within stipulated time line, with good quality. 7. CFT member to manage the on-time implementation and deployment of NPI projects globally at optimum cost and right quality, assisting supplier quality team. 8. Drive review cadence with leadership team, engineering stakeholders and project team members. Report on project status, progress and pipeline to all stakeholders. 9 Work closely with Leadership team for sourcing strategy and risk mitigation (supply chain, logistics, cost, Force Majeure risks). 10 Work closely with purchase / Buyer team for managing material / Inventory plan at plant and supplier, and order materials in advance. 11 Support PR / PO process and assist in timely completion. 12 Work with Identified suppliers for Proto developments and material purchase, and support plant for Validation / testing. 13. Perform Total Cost of Ownership Analysis for Project Deliverables. 14. Assist in procurement of capital equipment and evaluating various make/ buy options to ensure optimal capital spends. 15. Review Manufacturing Strategy for potential sourcing improvements. 16. Conduct make/ buy analysis to determine appropriate sourcing strategies. 17. Help coordinate with supplier on product stewardship activities. Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering OR Supply Chain Management. 9-12 years of experience from Manufacturing OR Engineering background or Supply Chain Management. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Reporting and Analytics – Presentation to project & leadership team Certification- Any certification in supply management like CPSM, CSM is preferred but not mandatory. VAVE certification is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent knowledge with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project). Demonstrated ability to interface and work with Operations and Design Engineering team to support product cost out and new product development projects. Process knowledge for Electrical and Mechanical categories is required. Good negotiation skills Response to deadlines.
