Job Description / Capsule

The Senior Search Engineer will work in a joint AD/AM environment. They will be accountable and responsible for the technical delivery of search solutions based upon direction and design from the Search Architect that will be based on business requirements generated as part of a CFIT project or business findabilty issue. They will also be accountable and responsible for the maintenance of developed search applications and solutions once delivered to ensure that all technical elements are working and the developed solution is available to the business and working as expected.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential

• demonstrable experience of 8 Years.
• Must have relevant experience working with at least 4 enterprise search engines (Sinequa, Autonomy IDOL, Google Enterprise search, Oracle Endeca, Apache SOLR, ElasticSearch etc.,)
• Should have clear understanding and knowledge about search platforms, how they integrate with source information and how they are delivered to end users.
• Should be able to analyse content and come up with standards and metadata required for enhancing search features.
• Should have sound development skills in either Java or .net or both.
• Webservers, Webservice and Database development skills is required.
• Excellent collaboration and social skills.

Desirable

• Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Excellent Analytical skills with ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points
• AWS working knowledge
• Good intuition for business.
• Exposure to all phases of IT development lifecycle.
• Application strategy/roadmapping – experience of rationalisation, consolidation and integration across business domains
• Ability to work well in diverse, multinational teams and shown ability to influence others to achieve positive outcomes
• Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry and of competitor activity, in particular architecture and Information Management
• Experience of directing multi-functional teams
