Siemens Mobility is part of the BACS consortium which is responsible for the design and build of Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh metro networks. The scope of work encompasses detailed structural, architectural and transit system design together with construction, testing and Commissioning of work. Our scope also includes the procurement of all Products and materials necessary to support project delivery. We are fully responsible for the design and integration of the transit systems and the civil infrastructure. Working from the Employers Requirements, the BACS consortium will manufacture, furnish, install, test and commission all components related to transit systems and Civil Infrastructure. The Role: Now we are looking to hire a Engineer Testing and Commissioning / Technician (Power SCADA) to Join our Project Team in Riyadh. What are my Responsibilities? • Primary responsibility is for the Testing & Commissioning of the Power SCADA systems of Line 1 and Line 2 as a project. • Focuses on meeting the overall project targets and assumes the communication with all stakeaholders • In charge for the Completion of works according to consortium planning and quality standard, within the calculated budget and without accidents. • Managing the interface with Engineer, other lots (Facility SCADA, COMMS, e.g.) and civil works • Performing and execution of the testing & commissioning works • Support design / design adjustment (red lining, as built) What do I need to qualify for this job? • Engineering degree or other equivalent qualification from reputable university or College • Proven Track record in similar function ideally from a large Rail Project Environment or other infrastructure projects with similar complexity • Solid experience working in project environment (high level of flexibility, ability to work under pressure and to meet the deadlines) • Candidates with proven track record who have successfully tested and commissioned Power SCADA systems preferred • Excellent level of English language.
