Our location in Kansas City, MO currently has an opportunity for a Senior Enterprise Systems Integration Engineer is within our Toxicology business unit.  This role has direct responsibility for integration engines or Mirth Connect highly desirable. Activities may include design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for integrations. Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming as necessary for assisting with custom integrations. Provides technical guidance to the integrations team(s). 

Provides technical guidance, administration, and customer support for multiple simultaneous new and existing client accounts.  Assists client managers, implementation managers, and business/project analysts in the establishment, launch, and support of standard and customized client services.  Guides department policies and procedures. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

(Example)

  • Design custom integration strategies that utilize Mirth Connect that includes scripting and knowledge or pulling data from SQL database.
  • Perform in a team environment to support overall
  • Write and maintain comprehensive integration documentation for customers and partners
  • Work with Account Management and Sales teams as needed to provide support and recommendations for integrations
  • Demonstrated organization, time management, and communication skills
  • Provide client with post-integration support as needed
  • Provides advice and direction throughout the implementation/delivery process
  • Ensure processes within the integrations department are followed in accordance with all regulations (i.e. SOX, FDA/Quality, general controls)
  • Support existing integration points and create new ones; troubleshoot errors
  • Collaborate effectively with individuals and teams across the entire SDLC process for the entire software lifecycle
  • Maintain source code using version control software as required
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation for new and existing systems
  • Minimal travel will be required for this position

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • +3 yrs. of Object-Oriented Programming,
    • For Example:
      • Java / JavaScript
      • Python
      • C++
      • Ruby
      • PHP
  • Knowledge of Project Lifecycle
  • Ability to lead client discussions
  • Knowledge of database structures and queries

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous work experience in Mirth
  • Healthcare or drug testing experience a plus, but not a requirement.
  • Experience leading client discussions
  • Working in SQL database
