A Senior Event Manager at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is responsible for servicing group and local catering events in guestroom and the hotel meeting and events facilities in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This position will focus heavily on the Leisure/Transient market, and be able to shift between servicing and selling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of catering/events experience in a luxury hotel
- Experience servicing group room blocks & strong event planning exposure
- Ability to manage all facets of high-profile events & groups
- Upselling techniques to maximize revenues for each event/group
- Ability to work in collaboration with sales manager, event supervisors, chef and service teams to exceed guests expectations
