PLANNING OFFICE FOR THE CHINESE MEDICINE HOSPITAL
The University has been providing quality Chinese medicine service to the community for years. In response to the Government’s intention to incorporate Chinese medicine into Hong Kong’s healthcare system and with the aim to operate the first Chinese medicine hospital (CMH) in Hong Kong, the University has established a Planning Office to coordinate and submit tender proposal for this hospital project. The University is recruiting the following position to support the development of the project.
The appointee will provide input and advice in the planning and development of the CMH project and tendering process, including but not limited to nursing services and management, ward operations, coordination and liaison with various internal and external stakeholders regarding manpower planning, education and training planning in the area of hospital operations. He/She will also be responsible for providing input and advice on brand building of the CMH to the community and promotion of Chinese medicine and perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have a degree in Nursing and a valid nursing practising certificate in Hong Kong with at least ten years’ solid work experience in nursing management, preferably in the medical sector. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), critical thinking, good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills are essential. They should have strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and enthusiasm to take up new assignments and challenges.
Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year (full-time or part-time basis). Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
