OFFICE OF THE EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
Senior Executive Officer (Ref. 20071708-E)
Duties
The appointee will be required to:
(a) provide administrative support to the Office of the Executive Vice President in the day-to-day operation of the Office;
(b) provide secretarial service to committees, project/working groups, and/or task forces as assigned by the Executive Vice President or her delegates;
(c) liaise and coordinate with offices/departments/units of the University as well as external organizations for various purposes;
(d) maintain a proper record of all minutes and records of the projects, committee/working group meetings and other correspondences of the Office; and
(e) perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Vice President or her delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
(a) have a recognised degree;
(b) have at least eight years of solid and relevant post-qualification administrative experience at a responsible level, preferably with some years of experience gained in sizable organizations or tertiary institutions;
(c) have an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, and preferably with fluency in Putonghua;
(d) have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills as well as computer literacy;
(e) have good analytical, problem-solving and organization skills; and
(f) be proactive and professional, and be able to work independently as well as in a team.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written language proficiency test.
Remuneration and Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should state their current and expected salary in the application.
