Responsibilities

• Lead a design team including a graphic design and a fashion designer to complete all the design projects


• Design and develop collection of Women's, Men’s & Kid’s with a good knowledge of woven & denim fabric usage


• Sourcing & selecting fabric, trims and garment materials for sampling & production


• Manage the working and delivery schedule of design projects independently


• Work closely with Product Manager, Sales & Marketing team and Factory & Sample Room about new themes, materials, designs, trends and price points


• Seasonally identify key market trends from US and EU with styles and colours update


• Assist in sample development, sourcing, sampling & production follow up


• Assist in Visual Merchandising for showroom visual presentation

Requirements

• Form 5 or above


• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience


• Strong apparel Design and product development experience with a strong background of USA and EU market


• Causal bottom woven is a plus


• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese


• Has strong awareness of piece dye woven/ denim/ fashion industry and is able to translate trends into relevant causal wear product, capable to finish collection independently


• Excellent presentation skill on all art work and fashion collection


• Good knowledge on textile development and basic sense on weave, dye and finishing


• Travel to mills/ trade show/ marketing research frequently
