Essential Duties and Responsibilities.  This section contains a list of five to eight primary responsibilities of the work.  The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.

1. Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, posting and recording

invoices

2. Preparing Journal Entries (month end closing transactions)

3.Perform Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Inventory and all General Accounting operational day to day activities and ensure accounts are up to date at all times

4.Create and update master data maintenance

5.Prepare and submit corporate reporting

6. Responsible for preparing management accounts, reports, balance sheet reconciliation/schedules in a timely and accurate manner

7.To assist in overall accounting and financial functions eg. cash flows management, budgets and forecast

8.Ensure integrity of the financial information in the accounting system - Investigate, reconcile and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

9.Responsible for preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding tax and any other tax related matters (e.g. transfer pricing).

10.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, statutory filing requirements and reporting in line with the company's policies and procedures.

11.Continuous improvement of financial and accounting process and controls

12.To perform any other ad-hoc tasks or projects as may be assigned from time to time.

13.To liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents and other relevant authorities 

14.Prepare intercompany reconciliation.

15.Assist in the coordinating information and support gathering for auditors.

16.Prepare reports and financial analysts for various management team meetings and ad-hoc business requests.

Education and/or Experience

• At least 3 year(s) working experience is required for this position
• Able to handle full set of accounts
• Financial planning analysis is added advantage
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Passionate and willing to learn and take on added responsibilities
• Self-motivated, independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
• Knowledgeable of Malaysia accounting standards, tax requirement and IFRS
• Intermediate MS Excel/Word abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills
