• Manage month-end and year-end closing to fulfil both internal reporting under IFRS and external statutory reporting
• Oversee monthly local management reporting and provide cause of change commentary and insights
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare intercompany transactions and reconcile with stakeholders in other offices
• Taking lead in audits, including both internal and external
• Provide guidance on proper application of  accounting policies and financial reporting requirements to ensure complete accurate and timely financial statements which meet the corporate reporting requirements and comply with statutory accounting principles
• Ensuring that all monthly reports and filing to various government bodies such as tax return filing, statistics reporting are completed accurately and on time
• Monitor ongoing compliance with established policies and internal control procedures
• Establish and manage good relationships with local tax bureau, Government officers, banks, and service providers
• Act as an advisor to the business management to ensure business conducts comply with the legal and regulatory requirements and recommend best practice to improve processes
• Be actively involved in decision-making for business and corporate and translate strategic plans into operational plans

• Bachelor of Finance or Accounting with more than 7 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
• Full proficiency in practical application of IFRS and  PRC GAAP
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA/CA/CPA) preferred
• Strong MS skills, especially proficient in SAP system is an advantage
• Strong communication (written and oral), including an ability to communicate effectively with senior management and business partners including good command of spoken and written English
• Capability to identify and solve complex problems; understand and recognize broader impact across the business/function
• Versatility and capability to handle numerous tasks and challenges
• Ability to work independently but at the same time a team player
• Work accurately with close attention to detail.
