Position Overview: The Financial Analyst will assist the facility in the maintenance of the accounting system that assures that financial records are complete, accurate, and in compliance with company policy. The Financial Analyst is a key contributor for compliance efforts, the annual physical inventory process, and meeting all Financial Reporting requirements. This position is based out of the Carol Stream, IL manufacturing site. In this function you will: Assist in month end closings, preparing journal entries, variance analysis, and financial reports. Provide assistance in monthly forecasting, annual strategic planning, and annual profit plan. Evaluate cost reduction projects and analyze impact on P&L Assist in the monthly preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations. Prepare monthly functional budget reconciliations. Maintain, and track plant cost out information. Ensure continued plant financial compliance. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business from an accredited institution. 2 Years of Working experience in a finance role. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or MS Operations Management preferred Previous experience in in a manufacturing environment Bilingual skills in Spanish Prior professional work experience in Manufacturing, Cost Accounting or Variance Analysis. Broad knowledge of key operational systems including sales inventory operations planning (SIOP), materials planning systems (MRP), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and quality systems with diverse experience managing varied and complex manufacturing processes. Strong leadership skills along with proven capability to deliver results and build high performance teams. Must have a strong operational and financial acumen, executive presence and the ability to lead engage across businesses internally and externally.
