TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst COMPANY: Siemens Logistics LLC DUTIES: Responsible to guide projects in cooperation with the assigned project manager within the agreed time for the agreed cost within the agreed specifications. Participate in Bid & Proposal pricing activities. Prepare order intake calculations, setup and maintain project work breakdown structure (WBS). Prepare and maintain project budgets. Monitor, analyze, and report on project costs. Ensure project financial transactions are in line with internal and external regulations / guidelines. Identify and document variances to budget and prior Estimate-At-Completion (EAC). Prepare monthly project status reports. Prepare project financial forecasts - orders, revenue, gross profit, EBIT, billings, and payments. Prepare project Estimate-At-Completion (EAC). Identify, evaluate, mitigate, and report project risk & opportunities. Timely and accurate billings for project milestones. Ensure timely customer payments. Involved in month end close activities - prepare project cost accruals, ensure project revenue and profit declarations are properly recognized. Support internal & external project audits as required, and perform project close out activities. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent) and 5 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Must have 5 years of experience with the following skills: experience working in a project based business in a controlling or project finance related position; knowledge and understanding of project controlling, accounting / finance, contract & subcontract management, manufacturing, service operations, and supply chain management; experience working on project teams supporting multiple projects and project managers; SAP and SAP Business Warehouse; and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - with advanced Excel skills. Must have commercial project manager or project manager certification. Approximately 15% travel required. OTHER: Dallas, TX. 40 hours/week; $104,000/year.
