Job Description

Eaton’s Hydraulics division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This position is based at our Van Wert OH facility. Relocation assistance is offered for this position.

In this function you will:

  • Be a key member in the month-end closing process by preparing accurate and timely journal entries along with financial analysis results
  • Manage standard cost at the site including the annual standard cost update process and price list management
  • Prepare, analyze and action key financial reports within the organization including daily and weekly reporting
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in leading annual physical inventory for the Van Wert location and other satellite locations
  • Perform financial audits and process checks of key internal controls
  • Analyze key variance accounts and prepare reporting for management and leadership
  • Work collaboratively with operational leaders to prepare and review budgets, accurate forecasting, and implement process improvements including maintaining cost out database for project tracking

Eaton has announced it has reached an agreement to sell its Hydraulics Business to Danfoss A/S. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q2 in 2021 and this position is expected to remain with the Hydraulics Business and would transfer to Danfoss A/S. upon close.  The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton’s plans, programs and practices.  If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Hydraulics Business when the transaction closes, Danfoss A/S will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Qualifications

Qualifications - Internal

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States both now and in the future without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Certified Public Accountant certification
  • Cost accounting in a manufacturing environment
