Position Overview

The candidate’s primary responsibilities are to provide financial and operational analysis & reporting to the Asia & International Leadership teams. The role is critical in supporting the senior management team’s decision making process as well as assisting the Region’s efforts to deliver against targets and provide financial visibility & predictability to the business. This individual will support the Senior Manager in coordinating the overall International & Asia FP&A process & calendar in addition to providing reporting & consolidation to the senior leadership team. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the Budgeting, Forecasting & Long-range Planning processes for the region as well as providing ad-hoc business analysis & reports including the preparation of Power Points for senior management presentations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate & scrutinize inputs from division FP&A & supporting functions for closing & forecast reporting, annual Budget process and Long-Rang-Plan
  • Perform International business unit consolidation & reporting for senior management consumption
  • Support analytical review and identify underlying trends and business dynamics
  • Prepare Power Point presentation for Senior Management
  • Maintain standard reports and develop new one to meet reporting requirements and business needs
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis on regional business performance, drawing insights & explaining variances

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting related discipline, preferably with an internationally recognized accounting qualification
  • Minimum 5 years solid financial analysis experience. Regional exposure is a definite advantage
  • Solid experience in preparing financial plans with budget/ forecasting and analytics preferably in the retail environment
  • Team player, Self-initiated, Flexible, Detail-oriented; Works well under pressure of multiple / concurrent deadlines
  • Result oriented and experienced in follow-through and completion of assignments
  • Fluent in Cantonese & English, Mandarin a plus; able to communicate well with colleagues from across levels and countries
  • Knowledge in Hyperion Essbase, and Microsoft AX (or equivalent) is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
