Position Overview The "Senior Financial Analyst - Performance and HQ Controlling" will be a key contributor to the dynamic and highly-visible NAM Performance Controlling team. The role reports to the Finance Director (Performance Controlling – Opex & Productivity) and will be a subject matter expert in all facets of the functions of the group, including financial reporting, cost center controlling, KPI analysis, forecast and ad hoc projects & reports and contribute to a healthy team environment in a high-performance culture. The individual will have opportunities to lead business initiatives, finance projects, and directly support Executive Management. Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include the following: As a trusted partner to the Vice President of Marketing, Sales, and Communications, provide expertise, advise, business administration and controlling services over the MSC organization Planning & controlling for HQ functions and centrally managed costs (operational and non-operational) including FC modelling based on internal and external data sources In-depth analysis of cost received as global allocations (IT, Real Estate, Global Functions) for North America, provide transparency on cost drivers, build up cost bridge and advise opportunities for productivity improvement Implement effective tools for headcount and cost center planning, reporting and controlling Create new and improve existing financial models and forecast methodology, e.g., on T&E-expenses Suggest and implement meaningful KPIs to enable decision making Ensure transparency, analysis and effective communication to internal stakeholders on allocated cost, SG&A, COGS and headcount Support on corporate initiatives, manage projects as needed Evaluate and drive implementation of digitalization and automation opportunities to streamline and simplify existing workflows Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: Know-how and experience in cost center budgeting/forecasting, monthly close activities, and various types of financial analysis (preferably 7+ years) Valued and recognized expert in above mentioned fields and internally trusted advisor to functional or line management Ability to manage up, down, and in all directions without expressed authority; building appropriate rapport with colleagues at all levels of the organization Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Experience in business excellence & process optimization is strong plus Excellent professional judgment and problem solving competence Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAP Experience with business intelligence tools, data analysis and visualization, automation and digitalization is preferred (Excel macros, KNIME, UIPath, Microsoft PowerApps suite, etc.) Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related area Minimal travel (<10%) may be required Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
