Position Description: The Senior Finance Manager, Pacific Communications (a unit of Commercial Analytics and Operations, CA&O) will provide financial and operational support to assist in leading the business unit thru the Operational Model Integration. Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for understanding harmonized financial processes and leading the business unit thru the changes Leading the Procure to Pay Process and Contract Management and serving as the conduit to Procurement and Legal Departments for business unit Headcount Tracking and Analytics Total Talent (AbbVie’s Contingent Worker System) lead for business unit including monitoring rates, job descriptions and worker tenure Develop Client Profitability Reporting for business unit within project management system and provide feedback to management Financial oversight for all business unit subscriptions (e.g., Box, LinkedIn Learning, Workfront) Document and review internal processes across business unit and recommend changes as considered necessary. Use industry standards as basis for recommendations Assist with development and cross training of Operations Staff Build partnerships/communications with CA&O and Finance Peers Work with client account teams to develop monthly revenue forecasts without interrupting client service Gain understanding of the Pacific profit and loss statement and assist with expense forecasting and tracking Responsible for ensuring project management general ledger is in agreement with SAP Assume lead role for Space Planning Develop formal structure for New Hire Orientation Assist with special projects Will assume responsibility for a least one full time employee Qualifications Requirements Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance 7-10 years of progressive Accounting/Finance work experience Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience Strong and interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate with all levels in the organization Must meet minimum in-office presence requirements Proven problem-solving skills Able to multi-task, manage to tight deadlines and adapt to changing environments Marketing Communications/Advertising Industry experience preferred Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel Yes, 10 % of the Time Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code M Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
