Senior Firmware Developer Location: Prague – Roztoky / Czech Republic Developing embedded firmware (FW) for power conversion products. Coaching and supporting junior FW team members. Your main duties : • Develops and maintains embedded FW for UPS and/or Energy Transition systems • Supports and coaches younger FW team members • Supports team manager with technical consulting • Develops and implements control algorithms (depending on previous experience and interest) • Creates documentation and specifications for embedded FW • Gives technical support on UPS systems to Product management, Technical support, CPS Sales Support and Sales • Develops test methods for embedded FW • Functions as technical expert on products Communicates with in & outside project team Reports project status Evaluates new tasks • Develops FW development processes, tools and methods • Gives technical supervision and writes and reviews plans and specifications Qualifications What we are looking for: • Master or Bachelor degree in Engineering • Experience as a Firmware Developer • Knowledge about modern embedded FW development - C / C++ / Model based design • Fluent in oral and written English What we offer: • At Eaton, we aspire to be a model of inclusion and diversity in our industry – a place where everyone matters and everyone belongs.
