JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for seasoned and experienced Senior Software Developer (REACT) that can accept a challenge, strive in a fast paced environment and are on board with developing the best products for our clients. We welcome motivated individuals that want to take our current tooling to the next level and help us think and develop BIG.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be part of a multidisciplinary Scrum and Kanban Team that maintains, improves upon and adds new features for our solutions, from the Development stages to the Production Release.
• You will design and develop new user interfaces and back-end solutions for web applications as part of our product release cycle.
• You will also develop web services, APIs and micro services, so REST principles are familiar to you and you know what it takes to create/modify them.
• You care about clarity, scalability and quality of your team's code, so using unit testing and documenting effectively is a must. Using TDD, SOLID and KISS principles are desired.
• You do not mind other people reading your code, peer reviewing it and improving upon it
• You follow the Boy Scout rule "always leave code cleaner than you found it".
• As part of a team, you are familiar with the concept of continuous improvement. You will help us build a better team and organization.
• You can take the initiative if necessary, you understand what visibility and honesty means; that "committed equals delivered" and that impact and real value are mandatory to our clients.

QUALIFICATION

Required

• You have worked at least +4 years in a similar software development role.
• You have firsthand experience in a multicultural and/or international environment, and working with distributed teams in different time zones.
• You are a master of your craft on several of the following: React framework, vue.js and node.js, javascript, MySQL (relational DB and query optimization), REST, microservices.
• You have worked in a Continuous Integration cycle and you understand what it entails for a multidisciplinary Scrum Team to build in GIT, Jira, AWS, UX&UI, QA Automation,
• English language skills both written and spoken. 

Desirable

• You understand what it takes to build good UX and UI-rich web applications.
• You have experience deploying using Terraform, Docker and EKS.
• Keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest technologies and coding standards in your spare time is one of your motivations.
