We are currently seeking an Operations Engineering Analyst based out of Suzhou. 

The roles and responsibilities of this position are assisting engineering manager in Build-to-Print commodities, e.g. Plastics, metals, cable, machining etc. Primarily focus is supporting superior to collect technical data, support follow-up schedule for localization projects, PPAP and Quality Improvement etc. Any other assignments according to superior requirements from time to time.

 

Responsibilities: 

• To perform updating quality issue, NPI projects in smartsheet
• To upkeep supplier audit and assessment records assign by superior
• Responsible for site’s and supplier’s on-site support and project monitoring
• To perform tracker for NPI project related to commodity assigned and meet target dateline 
• To access and pull related documents e.g. drawings, smartsheet, Power BI, Google form when superior assigned
• Responsible to support cost reduction as assigned to keep track and records
• Any other related to department requirements

 

Requirements: 

• Three to five years’ hands on project experience on Mechanical Components, preferably Tier 1 SDE (Supplier Development Engineering) in Automotive Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of interpret basic technical drawings and GD&T
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in English and Chinese
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus, preferably IATF 16949
• Knowledge in Microsoft excel, power point, google etc.
• Understand basic manufacturing technology, such as CNC machining, Injection molding, Sheet metal stamping, diecasting, secondary operations, etc.
• Understand basic type of materials ferrous and nonferrous materials, thermoplastics, etc. 
• Understand basic quality tool, statistic methodology, measurement instrumentation
• Understand project management skills, PMP knowledge.
