For our global Sales and Marketing Team onsite we are looking for you as  
Senior Global Marketing Manager (m/f/d) Infectiology
Region Hennigsdorf bei Berlin
 
In this position you will be leading the Infectiology business (PCT, MR-proADM, new sepsis  markers) from analysis of customer needs and user requirement profiles, Marketing guidance during the whole development stage gate process  to definition of Global Marketing strategies and initiatives for global commercialization. You furthermore maintain and develop a strong network with key opinion leaders (primarily hospital based physicians, laboratory, economical decision makers; authorities, health insurance companies, scientists) and license partners.
 
Your responsibilities
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of the relevant clinical processes and economic interests of all decision makers globally and in specific markets (e.g. based on market research, voice of the customers analyzes, market reports). These include patients, doctors from different hierarchies, administrative functions in health care organizations such as hospitals, clinics, health insurance companies and public administration organizations.
  • Monitoring market trends, documenting knowledge and transferring this knowledge to other functions on a global as well as regional level.
  • In close cooperation with Global Medical Affairs, R&D and other BU functions, you are responsible to drive all up-streaming Marketing related initiatives, such as product portfolio definition, product development, regulatory roll-out strategy and pricing strategy. Also, you are responsible for providing all relevant Marketing documentation as part of the BU stage gate process, specifically for the definition of user requirement profiles, product specifications and a detailed business plan.
  • In close cooperation with Global Sales and Marketing (GSM) you define the product commercialization strategy, incl. product positioning, targeting and aligns on global/regional initiatives to commercialize the products.
  • You are responsible to continuously monitor the product acceptance and customer satisfaction with own and competitive products and services and adapt/improve the global product offer if required. 
  • Management of the Global Marketing Infectiology Team, consisting of Product Managers responsible for PCT, MR-proADM, PCT direct and potentially further Product Managers.
  • You continuously improve work processes and results.
Your qualifications
  • University degree in life sciences, medicine, chemistry and/or business management (PhD would be a plus).
  • Several years of professional experience with proven successes in Global Product Management in in-vitro diagnostics, pharmaceutical industry or medical technology (In-depth understanding of medical matters in in-vitro diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry).
     Experience in Infectiology related Global Product Management is of advantage.
  • Excellent self-management, organizational as well as analytical and strategic skills paired with solid people- management experience are required.
  • Knowledge of the international health care system and health economical systems are of advantage.
  • Experience in network coordination in at least one expert medical field and in dealing with opinion leaders.
  • Outstanding communication skills in both English and German are mandatory (French is a plus).
