General Purpose:

Our Taipei design studio is looking for a seasoned graphic designer that can oversee, manage, and plan the day to day running and scheduling of its many projects. Project requests come in from the US headqusrtes, you will work closely with the US creative team, Taipei and China. The bulk of the work is production orientated regionalizing packaging and print assets, advertising, web banner creation and tradeshow graphics. You will manage a growing team of designers that service Corsair worldwide. Exceptional organization skills, fluent English and a creative drive are essential.

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

In depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is required. Familiarity with digital file formats and a comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles and production methods are also needed. Additionally, candidates must understand and be comfortable with conventional, and digital print processes. Design dynamic graphics for print and digital marketing campaigns

• Supervisory role of several Graphic Designers overseeing and managing print and digital web media

• Manage and maintain archived graphic files, including logos, product photography, packaging design files, etc.

• Work with the USA creative team to brainstorm and create compelling new imagery, layouts, and templates for Corsair.

• Work to deadlines and stay within specified budgets

• A good eye for design and typography

• Must be able to read color proofs and successfully manage complex (print) press checks

• Good communication skills, including good written and spoken English.

  
  

Essential Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years work experience as a designer or equivalent position.

• Supervisory or people management experience

• Can work independently with minimal supervision.

• Understanding and experience of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.

• Strong print production skills. Must know how to build print ready files and knowledge of 4cp printing

• Solid experience and attention to detail in web interface, digital advertising and copy/typography, photography and color theory.

• Experience working with creative briefs to produce creative concepts and ideas into final print and online media assets for multiple channels.

• Innovative design problem solver, capable of providing timely turn-around of projects and good creative instincts.

• Ability to conceptualize and execute a project from beginning to end.

• Able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and tight deadlines

• Exceptionally well organized and detail-oriented

• Be fluent in English, both spoken and written
