Enterprise Resiliency Office Overview (ERO) BNY Mellon's ERO aligns, centralizes and integrates our resiliency disciplines and capabilities to deliver timely and effective incident identification, impact assessment, escalation, communication and resolution; provide clients with superior service; and deliver resilient, world-class products and services. We leverage best practices, lessons learned from our enterprise-wide operational activities and feedback from our partners to continuously improve our resiliency posture. Role Overview This role will provide the management oversight of xMatters, including mass notification coordination in crisis situations, as a system admin role will engage in crafting the necessary messaging and issuance. It will also include management oversight of Return to Office tools – Contact Tracing Aruba and Virgin Pulse, including engagement with Technology, HR, Facilities and Security on process changes and serve as an escalation point for issues. As a leader, this role will be expected to lead the development of Recovery Point Objective (RPO) in close partnership with ECRO SRG and the Business Resiliency Leads across all CBS, including gap analysis, engagement across business and Technology, development of ongoing data model and test strategy. The role also provides strategic Product oversight for Fusion Risk Management to ensure data integration, BC and ICM addresses holistic needs of the enterprise as a scalable solution. Job Responsibilities Leadership oversight for the design and implementation of Resiliency Tools. Engage with ERO and Business leaders to understand strategic requirements, provide Technology and Business Analyst teams direction for enterprise-wide processes. Engage Legal, Privacy, HR and other Business Partners through the build, deployment stages through implementation. Ensure consistency in approach to delivering scalable solutions that meet the needs of the business while addressing complexity in our operating model. Redesign business processes with a focus on improved automation capabilities that reduce manual input and maintenance including data. Drive business adoption ensuring a globally consistent approach that accounts for location nuances where necessary while maintaining enterprise standards. Prioritize work efforts with Technology through an iterative model that delivers value to the business. General Job Responsibilities: Manages large or multiple teams of project managers who are the primary contact for clients and groups within the organization for medium to large scale projects. The team is responsible for end-to-end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation. Serves as a liaison between clients and internal technical groups to ensure delivery of medium scale to large scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations. Provides advice to internal clients on the implications of business trends, issues, operating environment changes and firm or business unit strategy. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Acts as a subject matter expert and provides guidance on complex technical issues. Proactively manages multiple teams of project managers. Leads status meetings for major projects and facilitates risk mitigation and resolution of more complex issues. Directs recruitment efforts and manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower-level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Manages multiple project management teams. Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives. Qualifications Advanced degree, preferably in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required. Ten or more (10+) years of related project management experience is required. Experience with technology and/or the financial services industry is a plus.
