We are a trading organization providing execution and other trading services to internal asset management clients, with more than $650B in AUM. Our traders work closely with the investment teams, support, quant research and engineering as we continue to evolve our trading processes, develop our industry-leading trading technology and apply rigorous quantitative and market structure research to ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions across a wide range of products. JOB DESCRIPTION: Work alongside a team of Buyside Fixed Income Traders who handle order flow across a range of active and passive investment products. Perform trade execution duties alongside other traders. Ensure execution of the clients’ orders in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. Contribute to the strategic direction of the firms trading activities. Oversee complex client flow including portfolio trading, index rebalances, transitions, new fundings and liquidations. Recommend and implement solutions to limit systems, process and workflow issues. Serve as resource on fixed income market conditions and activity. Work closely with the investment team, trade support and quant research and engineering to evolve our trading practices and ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions. Collaborate across the organization to improve workflows, reduce operational complexity and automate manual tasks. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Experience in fixed income trading is required, program trading experience with other asset classes is a plus. Quantitative skillset is preferred. Experience with some combination of Python, R and SQL is desired. Any experience in trading index, ETF and beta portfolios is highly preferred. Experience with fixed income OMS and EMS workflows, market data platforms and trading venues is preferred. Strong background and aptitude in Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science. A superb communicator, delivering and absorbing information with precision and efficiency, leaving no ambiguity in communication. Intellectually curious, fast learner and capable of grasping complex concepts and workflows. Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business. Qualifications Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 10-15 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred. Experience in trading or brokerage preferred.
