Job Description

1. Working closely with Marketing/sales/market access team to identify key business challenges then to propose HEMA solution to help addressing related challenges.
2. Support differential product value demonstration in JJMC.
3. Lead and coordinate HEMA project development, design, planning and delivery of HEMA projects to agreed timelines, quality and budget, using appropriate data, analytical expertise, and rigorous methodology.
4. Support Pipeline products HEMA assessment and actively involved in evidence generation plan discussion then prepare HEMA evidence to support launch.
5. Proactively identify, initiate and manage collaborations with relevant data sources to access the ‘best’ data source(s).
6. Provide technical review support for team members’ study protocol and appropriate consultant in related field.
7. Influence cross functional internal stakeholders and multi-disciplinary matrix functions to incubate collaboration in (but no limit to) internal education, strategic project, etc.
8. Proactively identify, initiate and manage collaborations with external stakeholders and execute environment shaping program.

9. Completed assigned tasks from team leader.


资历
Education and Experience required

1. PhD or Master’s degree in Epidemiology or Biostatistics or related scientific discipline, or MD with sub-specialization in Epidemiology or Public Health

2. Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in real world evidence/epidemiology at a pharmaceutical company, specialized consultancy, research institute or similar

3. Thorough understanding of the purpose and need for Health Economics and Real-World Evidence with a proven track record of successful execution of impactful Health Economics and Real-World Evidence projects.

4. Technical expertise (to sufficient degree to formulate RFP’s and review protocol and deliverables)

5. Previous experience in designing and implementation of prospective and retrospective observational studies (treatment patterns, relative effectiveness, burden of illness, etc.)

6. Hands-on experience with database analyses and programming, sufficiently expert to quickly run ad-hoc analyses to obtain preliminary results and evaluate feasibility of study designs

7. Operating in cross-functional environment

8. Experience in managing vendor relationships

9. Detailed knowledge of the data landscape in relevant geographies of China, experience negotiating access with data holders (is plus)

Key Evaluation criteria

1. Educational background in Epidemiology, Biostatistics or similar

2. Several years of experience working in Health Economics/Real-World Evidence in the pharmaceutical industry or with a recognized specialist consultancy or academic center of excellence

3. Experience of Health Economics/Real-World Evidence projects from conceptualization to implementation

4. Recognized leadership capabilities or potential

5. Strong analytical skills combined with strong internal and external communication capabilities and an entrepreneurial mind-set
