Job Description
We are seeking a personable, experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our growing organization. In this position, you will primarily act as a consultant for company management on all issues related to human resources. You should be a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions. Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the HR operational functions including benefits, onboarding/offboarding, talent workflow, immigration, relocation and transfers, HR policy and procedures and compliance • Prepare contracts for new hires, promotions and transfers in collaboration with department management • Manages the processing of Singapore and Malaysia monthly payroll in partnership with the local vendor • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters (including work permit/Visa applications) • Oversees the project employee renewal process including extensions, tracking of exit dates, database input, reporting, and status communication with management • Identify employee engagement programs • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. • Ensure compliance to corporate policies, Singapore and Malaysia government regulations and laws by keeping abreast of legislative changes in employment laws to limit legal exposure and liability • Partner with regional and global teams on all training needs and requirements • Performs special projects as needed on an on-going basis Requirements and Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field • At least 5 years of HR experience in HR Business Partner experience • Experience in both startups and large organizations • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and understand cultural differences • Strong analytical, presentation, organizational and problem solving skills • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations effectively and professionally • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Meticulous and able to work independently in a fast paced environment • Good command of English and Bahasa languages (both oral and written) • Well-versed in all MS Office applications, especially in PowerPoint presentations and Excel • Good working knowledge of SAP • Able to start work immediately Organization: Portfolio Companies Company: Siemens Logistics Pte.
