Eaton is seeking an Senior HR Technology Analyst to support our team. This would be location in Beachwood, OH. Position Overview: As a Senior Analyst on the HR Technology team, the candidate will provide thought-leadership on HR System related projects including modifications, customizations, upgrades, adoption of new functionality, reporting, and analytical use of data stored in HR systems. The analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT function, leveraging expertise in business analysis and experience with HR systems to recommend and implement solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Serves as subject-matter expert for all HR Systems and processes on assigned projects. Serves as Functional Project Manager and Analyst on all Acquisition and Divestiture Projects ensuring seamless integration with HR Systems. Delivers analytical expertise to small- through large-sized projects through the entire project lifecycle – from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, audit and post-production support. Leads Project Teams for new system implementation, patches, upgrades or enhancements. Identifies and escalates risks in all project phases. Manages creation and assignment of a high volume of UAT scripts (10,000 – 20,000 per year) and documents results in support of system upgrades or patches. Develop HR requirements documents, process maps, design documents, and testing scripts / scenarios and project playbooks. Leverage his/her knowledge of HR business processes and technology, to evaluate business requests and project solutions. Coordinates with multiple departments and stakeholders to produce better business results Customer Support and Subject Matter Expertise in HR Systems: Provides escalated user support to end users. Processes Tier 3 Data Corrections and mass updates. Manages requests from global users received via the case management system, identifies trends and analysis in cases and researches and identifies recommended improvements and enhancement opportunities. Researches System issues, unexpected results or process flaws by conducting large data analysis and system tests to identify patterns, impacted users, groups or regions. Documents results of analysis and works with technical support team on issue urgency and resolution. Leads UAT testing for break fix issues and documents results. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR or Information System roles such as generalist, business analyst, project manager. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship No relocation benefit will be provided. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in PL / SQL for data extraction from HRMS tables using Select queries Position Criteria: Demonstrated proficiency of project management methodology Advanced knowledge of HRMS Systems, global security guidelines, Sarbanes Oxley, and HR processes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. This position will require working with Senior Business Leadership and Senior I.T. Leadership on a regular basis. Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills including facilitation and negotiation, ability to lead and influence others, and the ability to effectively interface and work with a wide variety of people. High attention to detail and a desire to drive for results Thorough Knowledge of Human Resource Policies and Practices Thorough knowledge and understanding of HR Technology applications, how these applications and systems are developed and maintained, as well as how they interface with other systems. Ability to coordinate/prioritize multiple, often complex, tasks in order to ensure continued effectiveness in meeting the company’s recordkeeping, reporting and compliance needs. Strong analytical skills for completing complex problem solving and analysis of business processes and systems. Proactive about identifying problems and continuous improvement with focus on data integrity Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office suite such MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. Ability to complete advanced operations and formulas in Microsoft excel with large data sets.
