Job Description
1. Position: Senior teacher or Head teacher
• Access Elan resources and plan your Teachers Logs according to the objectives of the courses Deliver high quality literature, writing, and phonics courses to students including assigned quizzes •
• Issue and explain homework assignments to students and parents of younger students •
• Mark all tasks that students complete in class and for homework and fill out post-class comments •
• Assist in the development of the curriculum and winter/sumer programs Conduct phonics tests and free trials for new students and make recommendations for classes Enforce a “culture of English” and other Elan expectations through classroom discipline •
• Work with your Head Teacher and Center Manager to solve issues and encourage a positive center culture •
• Help to keep other teachers informed about schedule changes and assist in general communication •
• Assist the Head Teacher in monitoring other teachers and ensure that they are prepared and professional

Salary: 18,000-21,000 CNY (depends on experience and background)
8,000 RMB flight reimbursement

4. Requirements:
Native English speakers or Non Native speakers who have a BA degree from a Native English speaking country (to meet the government’s working visa application requirements)
Previous teaching experience with kids
Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently
Love reading and children
5. Working Hours:
5 days a week (3days during weekdays + weekends), 2 days off on weekdays
