Reports to: Head of Humanities Group (Global Perspectives, Geography, Business and
Economics department head), High School
Works closely with Global Perspectives and Geography subject leader
Works closely with: Academic Team, University Guidance Team, and Homeroom Teachers
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field (e.g. Global Studies, International Relations, Social Sciences, Education, Humanities, etc.)
Experience teaching international curricula (IGCSE, A Level, IB DP, MYP, or similar)
Strong understanding of inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches
Effective classroom management and strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
Ability and drive to work towards goals set by the leadership team and personal goals set by
the candidate themselves.
Preferred
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
Experience in curriculum development or interdisciplinary projects
Prior experience in an international school setting
