Job Description

The Business HR Operations (BHRO) group is looking for an inspiring HR leader who will drive strategic initiatives and innovation forward with a growth mindset for one of the tech industry's elite companies. The position is a key member of the BHRO global leadership team providing strategic business partnership. The successful candidate will be a trusted HR business partner to our Technology Development business group with responsibility for partnering with leadership, influencing, and executing the people agenda through strategic advice and delivery of best-practice services to the business. The individual will lead an HR team that is geographically spread across multiple business units and partner with leaders of other HR COEs with responsibility to build a strong, inspired team through active coaching, development, and collaboration.

The Senior Human Resources Director supporting Technology Development (TD) will be responsible for:

  • Managing and leading a team that provides proactive and effective HR solutions to TD employees, managers, and leaders.

  • Coordinating complex stakeholder relationships and implements solutions and systems that address priority business needs.

  • Assessing intangible variables to identify and evaluate fundamental issues, providing strategy and direction for major HR functional areas.

  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of HR functional areas, business strategies, and Intel's goals.

  • Building a strong, inspired team through active coaching, development, collaboration, and role modeling that deliver results and impact for the business.

  • Creating a culture of agility and innovation where ideas for growth are encouraged across boundaries for the good of Intel.

  • Supporting the transformation of the Business HR organization into a strategic learning organization that aligns to LEAN principles, efficiency, and upskilling across Business HR.

  • Leadership skills: demonstrated experience in leading a large, diverse, organization of HR professionals. Proven leadership skills to coach, mentor, and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals. Remain calm and lead with grace in difficult and ambiguous situations. High level of personal awareness, openness to feedback, and willingness to improve.

  • Business acumen and consulting skills: proven skills to possess or build a clear understanding of Intel strategy and operations, assess internal and external ecosystem and dynamics and its impact on business strategies. Collaborate across management levels, strong interpersonal communications skills, including listening, influencing, and encourage evolution. Demonstrated business and customer service orientation.

  • Executive presence, influence, and communication skills: influence senior business and HR leaders in a large corporate environment. Demonstrated credibility and skills to influence and partner with functions across HR. Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated presentation skills.

  • Results-oriented: proven skills to influence and drive change across the organization. Strong time management, responsiveness to confront and solve problems. Set and deliver to challenging goals and adapt to changing circumstances.

  • Relationship development and management: build trusting relationships that allow you to provide both practical and strategic guidance. Be known as a collaborative team player who puts the team ahead of self.

  • Systems and analytical thinking: connect seemingly disparate information and stitch it together in a coherent set of considerations and actions to be taken. Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness. Strong expertise in problem-solving and developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics.

  • HR and industry acumen: broad HR subject matter expertise in areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Development/Management, Workforce Diversity, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Succession Planning. Deep and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices with a focus on emerging trends in talent development and the future of work.


Qualifications

  • Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

  • Required Education: The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Arts, or an M.B.A. degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, or a related field.

  • Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years of related experience.

  • Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
