Senior Hybrid Cloud Migration Engineer for Azure Overview The Senior Hybrid Cloud Migration Engineer for Azure will be responsible for providing technical coordination in designing, implementing, and managing hybrid migration solutions on the Azure platform. This role will require a deep understanding of the Azure cloud environment and its migration capabilities, as well as experience with migration technologies and methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure and will be able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality hybrid migration solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Implementation of hybrid migration solutions on the Azure platform, working with Architects, project teams and clients to define requirements and execute defined migration strategies • Provide technical expertise in all aspects of migration planning, including assessment, discovery, migration readiness, and cutover planning • Develop and maintain migration playbooks, scripts, and templates to streamline the migration process • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application development, network engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure successful migration outcomes • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and participate in knowledge sharing activities • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Azure migration and related technologies, and provide recommendations for process improvement and optimization Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing hybrid migration solutions on the Azure platform • Strong knowledge of Azure migration tools and technologies, including Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, and Azure Database Migration Service • Experience with migration methodologies such as lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and re-architecting • Proficient in PowerShell, ARM templates, and other scripting languages used for automation and deployment on Azure • Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and storage systems • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and to lead and mentor junior engineers Organization: Siemens Healthineers Company: Siemens Healthcare Private Limited Experience Level: Experienced Professional Full / Part time: Full-time
