For our growing design team in our Istanbul Design Center, we are looking for an IC Design Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of RF and millimeter wave integrated circuits.
The candidate should have a master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) or higher in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline plus five years of (industrial and/or academic/research) experience, gained at any time, which must have involved: concept creation, evaluating design choices and trade-offs, implementation and evaluation of a complete integrated circuits as demonstrated by delivering at least one finalized system. The candidate will work within a group of analog/RF IC design engineers to create integrated products, specifically filters, mixers, and fully integrated transceiver systems. The candidate will interface with design management and other members of the team, as well as product engineering to create the detailed specification, report design progress, and to collect, track, and resolve any performance and circuit design issues.
Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge in RF and microwave filter design.
- Understanding of RF microwave concepts including impedance matching, power transfer, isolation, transmission line design, s-parameters.
- Experience in simulating RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits using Spice simulation tools; performing schematic and layout capture with CAD tools such as ADS, AWR, or Cadence.
- Experience in electro-magnetic simulation tools such as Sonnet, EMPro, CST, HFSS, Momentum, and EMX.
- Experience with RF test equipment and strong lab skills.
- Strong engineering communication and collaboration skills.
- High motivation and determination to succeed.
- Ability to adapt to flexible working hours to be to work with the design, product, and applications teams located in the USA.
Preferred:
- Integrated circuit design experience with multiple successful tape outs.
- Understanding of pcb/laminate materials and electrical parameters.
- Successful experience completing high quality RF board or laminate layouts.
- A Ph.D. degree and/or 3 to 5 years of industry experience on RF and millimeter wave integrated circuit design.
Travel requirements:
- The candidate will be working closely with the design team in Massachusetts, USA. There will be some travel required which will be less than 10%.
