In this role, you have the opportunity to
Develop architecture solutions consistent with the AET viewpoints, define the solution selection, analyze business capability, support activities related to enterprise portfolio management and manage architecture risk to support Philips’ transformation.
You are responsible for
Collaborating with and coordinate Philips Business team and DCH team to design, test and guide technical deployment for solutions in DCH partnership according to business requirements
Participating in and provide technical support to deployments of other Philips solutions in Greater China
Providing supervisory support to technical deployment plans and skill development of PSD (Professional Services Delivery)
Developing architecture consistent with the AET viewpoints, executed in line with the standards, rules and guidelines
Executing architecture validation process (Market Scans, Solution Framing, and Value Prototyping)
Providing advisory to key stakeholders and ensure architecture (design and selection) is fully aligned and supported by respective Stakeholders like Operation Process Lead, and Business Process Owners
Recognizing major conflicts for solution selection and design in an early stage and take counter measures that resolve them
Establishing strong communication with program / project teams, so they are fully aware of the architecture portfolios and solution designs
Providing input and guidance into the IT Strategy and yearly AOP cycle
Activities in Enterprise Portfolio Management including operational alignment analysis, update business blueprints & roadmaps, maintain patterns
Solution design with support of Solution Architects, consistent with the approved Architecture and safeguard "build as designed" with delivery teams & partners
Analyzing enterprise business context (trends and business strategy), as well as change requirements in other architecture viewpoints, to guide solution decisions for the enterprise
Managing architecture risk
Activities in Business Capability Analysis including undertaking Financial Contribution Analysis, Business Activity Maturity Assessment, Operational Analysis, Opportunities Definition, Investment Planning
You are a part of
DCH team. You will base in Beijing, report to Technical Leader.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
At least 10+ years IT experience in a highly qualified function including experience as technology & solution architecture (e.g. Technology Research & Digital, Commercial-IT domain, Architecture and/or Design Lead, etc.
A proven track record in developing complex architectures and collaborating with high performing information technology global teams that are culturally diverse in matrix organizations
Minimum of five years of hands-on design and implementation experience in IT (solution requirements / design, Application development)
Exposure to multiple, diverse solutions and commercial packages/SaaS products
Experience in implementing a software as a service solution is highly desirable
Experience leading cross functional teams and managing relationships with business customers
Experience of working with multiple and complex projects to quality, time and budget
Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
Proven ability to understand and influence stakeholders within and across the function, building trust and driving the change agenda leveraging both the formal and the informal elements of the organization
Proven ability to deal with uncertainty, adjusting course as the circumstances change, without jeopardizing the end goals and the achievement of the strategic objectives
Business fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
