• Job brief

o A Senior IT Network Engineer will develop, maintain and optimize functional and secure networks.

o A Senior IT Network Engineer should have excellent problem-solving skills and a thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture.

o A Senior IT Network Engineer must have a useable background in security and data protection.

o Your goal will be to establish networks that cater to HZO’s needs and provide the necessary infrastructure to allow our employees to engage with the customer in a professional and safe manner.

• Responsibilities

o Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

o Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices

o Monitor network performance and integrity

o Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

o Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

o Mentor team members on technical issues

o Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

o Communicate effectively with users when needed

o Maintain complete technical documentation

o Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability

• Requirements

o 5+ years of Industry-related experience as a IT Network Engineer or Network Administrator

o Professional certifications (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)

o 5+ Solid background in network administration and architecture

o In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

o Familiarity with access control models and network security

o Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl, Windows, etc…)

o Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. Windows/Linux/Apple hardware and network utilities, Windows performance and monitor tools, ect.. )

o Solid understanding of network operating systems (Windows, Fortinet, Azure, etc…)

o Sharp troubleshooting skills

o Ability to work independently and make independent decision that maintains HZO’s network integrity

o Organizational and mentoring skills

o BS/BA degrees and/or 5+ years related work experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

o Ability to travel as needed. 1 week a month.
