Monthly Salary Range: HK$42,665 – HK$67,390 (for the grade of Computer Officer II)

Duties: The appointee will assist the IT Manager in designing system architecture and development standards, project management and reporting, application development and support, user training and documentation, liaising and monitoring outside vendors in outsourced projects, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in IT related disciplines plus at least seven years relevant working experience in IT services and software engineering. He/She should process the following knowledge and skills.

• Experience in implementing and supporting large-scale information systems and/or ERP systems such as PeopleSoft Human Capital Management System (HCM) and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS);

• Profound knowledge and experience in implementing Staff Development & Training system (eg. Staff Discount Scheme and Continuing Personal Development Scheme), Electronic Point of Sale system using PHP Point of Sale, Electronic Workflow system using Gravity Flow and Agentflow for higher-education institution preferable;

• Excellent knowledge in technical management, information analysis and application development skills/programming languages/tools (CSS 3, HTML 5, PHP, MYSQL/MariaDB, Oracle, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Node.js, WordPress etc.);

• He/She must be capable to play as a technical leader with expertise in HCM & EBS infrastructure and interfacing between two systems.

• Familiar with IT operation and structure in higher-education institutions preferable;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills with positive working attitude;

• A team player with good leadership and communication skills to work with users and vendors.

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Terms of Appointment: Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review. A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
