Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications by ISV partners. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development. Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end to end testing of applications. Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

Qualification:

• Experienced in applying Agile DevOps model for application development including Scrum Processes, Test Driven Development, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Integration, Automated Build, etc.

• Adept in technical skills for software solutions development including software architecture design, Angular X, .NET, C#, SQL, HTML5, JavaScript, Python, database programming, Microservices, NodeJS, and related skills.

• Proficiency with one or more Biz Intelligence or Data Science related programming or scripting languages such as R, SQL, SAS, Python, JMP, machine learning, image analytics.

• Strong intrinsic problem-solving skills, ability to structure and solve problems and conduct and interpret analysis independently, with demonstrated analytic and quantitative skills.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills to drive strategy technical direction.

• Teamwork: Work well with others and demonstrate strong team player behavior.

• Analytical Skills: Able to recognize the needs of customers, and create new applications that answer those needs.

• Creativity: Invent new ways of approaching problems and developing innovative applications.

• Attention to Details: Applications have many parts and all must work together for the application to function.

• MS/BS degree in a computer science and data science fields or related discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, Data Science, etc.)

• 15+ years of working experience in software development.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
