Job Description
- WHAT WE DO
- You will be involved in the development of new customer-facing products interconnecting Mercedes-Benz Mobility and Mercedes-Benz Cars as part of the Bundling Platform initiative
- You will collaborate with product managers and project leads by answering technical questions, conducting POC evaluations, and working with the product owners and external engineering teams to bridge any gaps
- You will translate business requirements into software architecture and data models for payment and financial related products and services
- You will design and conceptualize cutting-edge payment web applications for cloud environments that are well aligned with our existing IT landscape
- You work closely together with external development teams and the internal QA, IT Ops, Project & Rollout and Business Ops teams to ensure smooth product rollouts, service, and operations
- You will create and steer documentation of data and application architecture
- You will develop data privacy and security best practices and guidelines within Mercedes pay
- You will support a concept for data usage and monetization
Pay directly from the car: Mercedes pay supports, among other things, in-car payments as well as payment processing via app and in the web shop.
We want customers’ contact with Mercedes pay and the payment transactions on the global platform to be as seamless as possible. We are also developing exciting new payment products and solutions to provide customers with an even better user and payment experience.

Depending on the market, Mercedes pay may process transactions from Mercedes me connect store, the Mercedes me app, in-car payments or even supporting online vehicle sales.
