Senior Information Officer / Information Officer (Programming)

The appointee will work with a team of IT professionals to a) perform programming development, testing, bug fixing, system integration and implementation on schedule; b) collaborate with team members closely to develop high quality web and mobile applications with attention to good user experience; and c) undertake other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants should have (i) a recognized degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent; (ii) a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in web application development with responsive design in both desktop and mobile platforms; (iii) practical skills in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, CSS and/or any JavaScript framework such as VueJS, NodeJS, etc.; (iv) experience with backend scripting languages such as PHP, Python, etc.; (v) experience with any SQL database such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.; (vi) experience with RESTful API integration would be an advantage; (vii) excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in written and spoken English, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and in teams. Candidates with working knowledge of the Banner ERP System will be advantageous. Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Benefits
