Position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Investigations in
Lenovo’s Internal Audit organization.
The successful candidate will lead and/or support investigations of potential
employee misconduct (consistent with Lenovo Group's internal investigations
protocol and roles/responsibilities) in areas such as conflicts of interest,
financial issues, and falsification of documents. This includes using
effective project management and investigation approaches to deliver timely,
high quality results, including data analysis (leveraging internal and
external data sources), strong interview technique (witness and subject),
strong stakeholder management & communications protocol (including maintaining
confidentiality as required by protocol), and effective case documentation and
tracking in the investigations system of record. Role also requires experience
partnering with Legal and HR partners, and comfort working in legally
sensitive areas with due professional care. The successful candidate also will
have proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust to
rapidly changing priorities.
As Internal Audit Senior Investigator, the successful candidate also will
partner with the Investigations Senior Manager to drive increased
investigations competency among others within the IA department to be
leveraged as needed during peak case load periods, and will be involved in
other special projects such as department continuous initiatives as necessary.
#### Position Requirements:
• 5-7 years of direct experience performing investigations, preferably
internal investigations.
• Public, high tech, and/or manufacturing company experience desired,
preferably in a large, multinational.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other audit-related discipline
• Certification such as CFE, CIA or equivalent.
• ~50% domestic and/or international travel
