Job Description

  • Plays a key role in projects, as a lead, project manager, or critical designer.

  • Leads projects that are medium to large in size: responsible for financial management of the project, ensuring key deadlines are met and that the project stays on schedule and staff are working together effectively.

  • Develops landscape design plans in response to technical problems posed by a project’s scope. Develops innovative solutions to problems.

  • Serves as a technical design expert to the project, but generally works through staff to develop and execute design.

  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard landscape architecture techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications on projects.

  • Manages the presentation and report development for clients.

  • Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction.

  • Assist in managing and leading project team; work and communicate with the team efficiently and maintain good relationship with team members.

  • Leads marketing efforts to current clients and is instrumental in identifying and attracting new clients.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Landscape Architecture or closely related field required, Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and Planning, Urban Design, Nature Resource or Architecture preferred.

  • 7 years or above experiences in a landscape designer role, overseas work experience is preferred.

  • Proven experience successfully managing teams; well regarded by peers and direct reports.

  • Strong client management skills.

  • Strong portfolio of built work which demonstrates excellent technical capabilities.

  • Experience working in sustainable design and green infrastructure are preferred.

  • Excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and, Adobe Creative Suite software packages.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good Organization.

  • Oversea study or working experience is preferred.

  • Portfolio attached is a must.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite as well as overall strong computer proficiency.

  • Good writing and oral communication skills both in English and Mandarin
