The opportunity:
The Senior Learning designer is ultimately responsible for the quality of learning assigned both to our employees and external stakeholders. The role has a broad scope, and can have a real impact on the entire organisation.
About the role:
- Work with the team’s Head Of and/or Manager to identify, resource and project manage learning & development initiatives that impact the Learning Design team, ensuring they enable the achievement of AIA’s strategy and vision
- Support the Learning Design team with their workload, maintain high design and quality standards and manage priorities.
- Responsible for the scoping, design and development of learning solutions (eLearning, blended learning, online assessments, performance support)
- Ensure learning solutions developed are of a high standard – accurate, functional, concise, engaging, and accessible
- Act as subject matter expert staying abreast of L&D best practice and being proactive in recommending improvements in order to support the organisational learning strategy
- Manage learning campaigns via the Learning Management System (LMS)
Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by Manager in order to meet reasonable operational and/or other requirements.

- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage multiple projects at once
- Experienced coach of other learning designers
- Skilled in the use of Articulate360.
- Skilled in use of Adobe Creative Cloud suite (e.g. InDesign, Premiere Pro, Audtion)
- Strong stakeholder management skills

- High level of visual design and layout skills and user interface design principles
- Excellent written skills are a core requirement for the role as you will be crafting or editing other people’s content for online material and assessments. Excellent communication and presentation skills are also required.
