Responsibilities:

• Assist the Assistant Principal in overseeing the daily operation of the Design and Art department;

• Develop and manage Art and Design related programmes and general courses; 

• Responsible for internal and external quality assurance measures and requirement;

• Perform teaching duties, supervise projects and organize exhibitions and publications;

• Work closely with relevant industry and professional bodies on collaborative projects; and

• Being responsible for the budget of the department

• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• A recognized postgraduate degree /or professional qualifications in Interior Design or relevant disciplines;

• At least 5 years’ relevant teaching experience in tertiary institutions and / or professional work experience in interior design or relevant industry, preferably in the related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in programme development and management; Applicant with less experience may be appointed as Lecturer; 

• Preference will be given to those who are familiar and understand the operation of a self-financed institution;

• Have extensive network with the relevant industry.

• Good proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese;

• Good communication and presentation skills
